What information will RDL use?

By requesting RDL to quote on works, or instructing us to complete works, we will collect and use information about you. This information includes your name,

home address, telephone number and email address.

The information that you provide RDL is necessary in order for us to provide you with a quotation and for us to carry out any building works you instruct us to.

What information do RDL store?

We will obtain and store the following information

- Full Name

- Postal address

- Telephone number

- Email address

- Photographs of the works we have been asked to price (if relevant)

How will RDL use your information?

We will retain your personal information to allow us to carry out our business;

- To provide you with a written quotation of the works you have requested

- To contact you in relation to potential works or works you have instructed us to do

- To ask for feedback/reviews and imagery of our workmanship for our website/social media


Who will we share your information with?

We will NOT pass on your data to any third parties or companies without your prior consent to do so.

RDL is provided personal information from various third parties/companies including managing agents and landlords, of tenants etc. We only use this information as has been agreed with these third parties/agents.

The information we hold on you (as above) is stored securely and we do not send out marketing material

How long will RDL keep your information?

Your information will be kept securely stored until such a time that you ask us to remove it by emailing ripleydevelopmentsltd@gmail.com or in writing to our registered company address 33 Columbine Road, Widmer End, Bucks, HP15 6BS.

Retention of personal data will be done in compliance with legal and regulatory obligations and with industry standards.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 1998 you have the following rights:

- To obtain access to, and copies of, the personal information RDL hold about you

- To require that RDL cease processing your personal information if the processing is causing you damage or distress

- To require RDL not to send you marketing communications

The new GDPR of 25th May 2018 means you will also have the following rights

- To require RDL to erase your personal information

- To require RDL to restrict or object to our data processing activities

- To receive from RDL the personal information we hold about you which you have provided to us, in a commonly-used electronic format, including for the purpose of transmitting that personal information to another data controller

- To require RDL to correct the personal information we hold about you if it is incorrect or needs to be updated

Please note that these rights may be limited by data protection legislation and we may be entitled to refuse requests where exceptions apply.
